I agree with this....

Outlook is so much a part of life. Optimism can quite literally change the way you live, and affect the way that you respond to people around you.

Cancer is considered bad, unless you look at it as an opportunity to reach out and connect with others, and change the world around you regardless of it.

I think that's where Billy is coming from... at least that's how I take it.

Maybe, but I'm not inclined to agree with "Billy" either. Murder, rape, starving children, apathy, etc. are bad things whether you think about them or not, right? It's not the thought that makes bad things bad or good things good.

yeah, now that you guys bring this up, I do agree with you that just thinking about things don't make them either good or bad....

I guess it was just a happy thought for me...and I do think it is possible to see the sunny side of things, but not all things.
